Formed in 2005 from a diverse musical background Beckett has wasted no time in
bringing
it's unique brand of indie-rock to the forefront of the Bournemouth music scene.
Due to a tireless schedule of gigs the band has entertained audiences at venues both
locally and nationwide,which has helped establish a reputation as one of the area's
premier talents.Their success has been evidenced by a string of accolades including
a spell supporting Wendy James ( Tranvision Vamp ) and a third place prize in the
Carling Battle Of The Bands on their very first attempt at the competition. Such
recognition twinned with a loyal fan following has prompted the band to record their
debut 'EP' with four songs, 'Slow Motion', 'Just A Case', 'Life', 'GTI Lady' which
is out now.
